Position Purpose:
The Trade Finance Intern will support the Trade team members in clearing trade plans, reviewing and importing trade plans as well as other ad hoc Finance analysis. They will assist in working with the trade and commercial finance teams to clear, review, import and report on trade plans and deductions. This role will be involved in regular Finance operations as well as cross functional collaboration with Sales and Revenue Growth Management teams.
What To Expect as a Lindtern:
Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands-on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assist in clearing deductions, reviewing trade plans and importing forecast volumes
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, and other departments to support financial initiatives
- Update key performance indicators and assist in regular Finance operations.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required to support various business needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
- Foundational knowledge of financial statements
- Experience in a professional environment
- Motivated attitude with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills, with an ability to accurately collect and organize information
Education:
- Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program - pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance majors
Other Requirements:
- Internship Program based in Stratham, NH.
Total Rewards:
Compensation Range: $20 an hour
