Position Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planning Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of supply chain planning, advanced analytics, and operations research. You will contribute to optimizing our supply chain processes through data-driven insights and advanced optimization techniques

What To Expect as a Lindtern:

Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands-on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Analyze large datasets related to various Supply Chain functions (Demand / Supply / MRP) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Measure supply chain performance against key metrics and master data to identify potential solutions

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to Develop and implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes, resolve bottlenecks, and eliminate waste using methodologies like Lean/Six Sigma identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Apply operations research and optimization techniques to solve complex supply chain problems
  • Recommend actionable strategies to streamline supply chain planning functions and improve overall system performance, while emphasizing lean principles and maximizing service levels

Tool Development and Implementation:

  • Using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP-S4 HANA ), advanced planning systems (SAP-IBP), and data visualization tools (e.g. BI) to manage data and support decision-making
  • Support the deployment of analytics solutions into existing supply chain workflows

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

  • Prior internship and/or Project focused process and results oriented positions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong Interpersonal skills between functions and levels
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experience with supply chain tools and software a plus (SAP & Microsoft Applications).

Education:

  • Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program - Preferably with a focus on Supply Chain.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work On-site 4-5 days per week

Total Rewards:

Compensation Range: $20 an hour

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
