Supply Chain Management Internship Summer 2020

Location Stratham, New Hampshire


Position Purpose:

The Supply Chain Management Intern will be responsible for researching, documenting and making reccomendations on a Key Account non-compliance fine reduction Plan. The role will have a strong analytical focus while also providing the focus to work on a Key Account. The focus will be on 1 specific key account to research, outline and map a non-compliance process for review and validation on fines.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:


  • Research on customer non-compliance fines
  • Organizing Data for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Functional and cross-functional Process Mapping
  • Supply chain cost analysis

Desired Skills:

  • A basic understanding of supply chain needed
  • Strong computer skills preferably with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking while keeping attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on teams
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule following established procedures
  • Ability to foster and maintain solid professional relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills


Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program - Preferably with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Process and results orientated
  • Team focused and collaborative
  • Ability to operate effectively and professionally in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills


  • Must be a currently enrolled student with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.

Other Requirements:

  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills
